A Walking Carrot

The other day I pulled out a bag of carrots to roast and inside was the most delightful surprise: a carrot with legs!

This little guy looks like he is ready to head out for a jaunty walk. He's got some pep in his step! I could just imagine what kind of outfit he would be wearing, can't you? 

I immediately called Margaret in to look at it, and her face lit up with a big smile. Who knew that a carrot could make our whole day?
